Election Regulation Vote Recap Dear Patriots: As you know, there was a Legislative Commission Hearing to adopt BAD election regulations Monday. We had hoped that our Republican representatives would stand strong against these, just like they did against the vaccine mandate. We sat through over 30 hours of regulatory hearings to fight for: Equal access to the process for all major political affiliations Election reporting transparency, including ballot chain of custody Meaningful observation of all steps of the process including signature verification Common sense checks to ensure all voters feel secure in the election We had two voices that spoke up for what’s right: Assemblywomen Lisa Krasner and Jill Dickman. Thank you for having the courage to stand up for fair elections in our state! Election Security is the number one issue for Republicans. Over 2,500 messages were sent to the members of the Legislative Commission asking them to vote NO. It was a choice between what was right, and what was easy. In the Legislative Commission, if all Republicans vote no, the rule doesn’t pass. One good regulation was passed. Republicans had the power to block every single one. It is hearings like this that reinforce why pre-primary endorsements are so essential. We must have Republicans that vote like Republicans. We must have representatives that listen to their constituents – not just their donors. We must have representatives for the people, by the people, and speaking on behalf of the people. Another huge Thank you to the lone voices speaking up for clean, fair, and transparent elections to- Assemblywomen Lisa Krasner and Jill Dickman. As Mark Twain said, “It is never wrong to do the right thing.” We must take Nevada back and elect Republican leadership who speaks for Republicans to fix our laws and let every voter have a voice. Watch the full regulatory hearing here. Thank you for being in the fight for fair and secure elections! Nevada Republican Party |
