Assemblywoman Lisa Krasner (Nevada) was chosen by Governing Institute as one of only 25 women from the 50 states to receive the Governing Institute Award for Outstanding Leadership. Krasner was nominated for the Award for her work in the Nevada 2017 Legislative session; and specifically her Bill, AB145- Extends the Statute of Limitations for Child Victims of Sexual Abuse (2017).
