Nevada Assemblywoman Lisa Krasner announced Wednesday morning that she will seek re-election for Assembly District 26, which includes Incline Village and Crystal Bay on Lake Tahoe’s North Shore.
If elected in the November 2020 election, it would be her third term representing the district.
Krasner was endorsed by the Assembly Republican Caucus, according to a press release Wednesday.
During the 2019 legislative session, Krasner served on the Judiciary Committee (as the Minority Chair), Education Committee and on the Health and Human Services Committee. She also served as the Whip for the Assembly Republican Caucus.
“I am truly grateful to my constituents in Washoe County’s Assembly District 26 who have elected me to serve as their representative in Carson City,” Krasner said in the release. “I promise to continue to fight for common-sense conservative values that help eliminate red tape, reduce wasteful spending, and provide every Nevadan with an equal opportunity to succeed.”
