The National Foundation for Women Legislators has chosen Nevada Assemblywoman Lisa Krasner for its National Elected Women of Excellence Award 2018. Lisa Krasner was chosen for this prestigious award for her work on Assembly Bill 145 (AB145- 2017) Extends the Statute of Limitations for Child Victims of Sexual Abuse.

Krasner authored and passed the legislation in the 2017 Nevada Legislative Session with every Republican and every Democrat unanimously voting YES on the Bill and Governor Brian Sandoval signing the Bill into law in June 2017.

Krasner will join a select few other female elected officials from across the United States, each chosen for their exemplary work,  to receive her Elected Women of Excellence Award. The award ceremony will take place in Washington, D.C.
